Manually log a figure legend for a saved PDF

Writes a .legend sidecar file next to an existing PDF so that create_analysis_pptx() can include the text automatically on the corresponding slide. Use this for figures generated outside scSidekick (e.g. doublet score plots, external QC tools) or to override an automatically generated legend.

Usage

log_figure_legend(out_dir, filename, text)

Arguments

out_dir

Character. Directory containing the PDF.

filename

Character. PDF filename (with or without .pdf extension).

text

Character. The legend text to attach. Should be one or two complete sentences suitable for a figure caption.

Value

Invisibly returns the path of the written .legend file.
